Should anyone actually celebrate Christmas, I hope you had an interesting time. Or, considering the season, a romantic time would be a better wish?

Just when I thought I was going to spend New Years indoors with Cat like a boring person I was asked to replace a colleague as the guest host on Flash*Bang. I’ve never hosted any kind of program, and most of my improv experience comes from live shows, but it’s an interesting opportunity.

For those unfamiliar with the show, it’s a new years special of an ongoing variety show covering trends and celebrity news and the like. The special I’m on will be a flashback show looking through the year’s highlights, featuring a few guest interviews and me and my co-host getting increasingly drunk as we near the countdown. Which is probably going to come back to haunt me, but the show must go on et cetera ✨ 

[ooc: the show is obviously completely made up, so if anyone wants to suggest they've seen segments of it or anything, go right ahead]

I don't think I've ever heard of that one. I'll have to see if I can catch some of it on my iPad or something since I'll need to watch out for Kura on another show. ☆ ～('▽^人) I wonder what the year's biggest highlights were... is it just like celebrity news or is it other events, too?

Excellent. Congratulations on being on the show. I'll catch at least parts of it. It'll be interesting to see if it's one of those things where they take you completely out of context or if it's simply going to be that you'll have running commentary on the show. You are going in with any sort of persona, correct? You will be as you are?
